We are now in LA - fly out to Fiji at 10:30 tonight. It is a nice sunny day here - not too warm between 65 and 70.
As Lois said yesterday was a bit of a "hurry up and wait day" but we got here uneventufully. We were ready to leave at 2:00 PM and the car didn't show up. I phoned and it had broken down someplace and they had to call in another driver so we left 50 minutes late. The driver really booted it down the 401 and we were at the airport 55 minutes after leaving our driveway. We still had plenty of time as I had allowed extra time when setting the pick-up time. Our flight was uneventful but we were tired when we got here.
Lois has finished her first book. She says it is one of the best books she has ever read "The Boy in the Moon" by Ian Brown. I've read 10% of my first book!!
